Who We Are
Wootton Neighbourhood Store and Clapham Neighbourhood Store are the same shop twice over: open long hours, a short walk from home, with the things you actually need.
Between them the shelves carry fresh bread and milk, eggs, fruit and vegetables, beers, wine and spirits, household basics, pet food and the brands people ask for by name. If something is missing, say so at the counter — both shops are shaped by what their village wants.
Each shop holds its village Post Office counter — banking, parcels, bill payments, and travel money at Clapham — as well as the National Lottery, phone top-ups and everyday essentials at the till, seven days a week.
We are part of Wootton and Clapham rather than a chain passing through, and everything on the shelves is chosen for the people who walk through the door.

Wootton and Clapham each hold the village Post Office. Banking, bill payments, letters and parcels, collections and returns, and travel money at Clapham — all of it happens here rather than in Bedford, and the counters bring both villages through the door every day. That is why the Post Office is a strategic partner of the shops rather than just another service we offer.

Parcels are collected and sent back at both counters — Royal Mail at each, with Evri and Amazon returns at Wootton.
